Case: Fractal Design Define 7 - Solid Side Panel (fan hub included)

Hard Drive #1 (Primary): 1TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus NVMe M.2 SSD

We only use new NVMe solid state hard drives for the primary boot drive. An NVMe SSD improves your computer's performance - they are faster, more stable and more reliable than a traditional mechanical hard drive, or older SATA SSD drives. There are several high end drives listed. We've been using the Samsung 970 Series for several years now, they are very reliable but they are a little slower Gen3 drive. The other models listed are all Gen4.

The Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus is a Gen4 drive and is one of the fastest drives we've used and it's very reliable. They claim speeds of up to 7000 MB/s (read) and 5300 MB/s (write) but also keep in mind speed can vary per drive model and capacity.

The WD_Black drives are also a favorite of ours. The manufacturer claims speeds of up to 5,150 MB/s (read) and 4,900 (write).

Case Fans: Standard Fan Package - No LED Lights

There are a bunch of different fan options below. The 3 Noctua options are mostly based on the color of the fan, although the price of the specific fan models vary. We'll go through each option below so you can make your decision based on price and what your needs are.

Standard Fan Package - We mostly use the default fans that come with the case and sometimes add or replace with an additional fan depending on the case and/or configuration of the system being built. In our Fractal Design cases these will be Fractal Design fans. Fractal Design fans are "decent" fans. We view them as a better brand than most except for Noctua.

Noctua Fan Packages - Black, Gray or Brown/Beige. Most view the brown/beige fans as their highest quality fans - they are the original design and colors of Noctua fans. We also include an option for Gray NF-P14s Redux fans as we can get them at a little lower cost and save our customers some money. The black fans are NF-A14 models which we use blue anit vibration pads in the corners - if you are selecting a case with a side panel window it is best to choose the black fans as they are more aesthetically pleasing to look. If you are selecting the Fractal Design case with a solid side panel and you won't be able to see the fans then the best selection in our opinion is the brown/beige NF-A14 fans.

Fractal Design Aspect 14 RGB PWM - These fans come with the Fractal Design Meshify 2 RGB case. If you select this fan option the case will be changed also. There are a lot of different color modes if you want a case with a clear window and a beautiful light show.

In order to provide the best warranty and support possible on our systems we do not sell or ship to Canada, Hawaii or Alaska at this time. We will continue to provide the BEST custom built computers possible, if you have any other specific build requests please don't hesitate to contact us. Current order processing is 5 to 7 business days after the order has been placed, this includes all phases from building, testing and packaging. After your order has been completed it's shipped via UPS or FedEx (your choice), transit times can vary but usually are between 2 to 4 business days.
